Working knowledge of GST Suvidha Kendra biometric process for at least one Bangalore GSK location. Customer accompaniment capability is a strong plus.

Document drafting

Capability to prepare authorisation letters, board resolutions (for companies), partnership deeds, and rent/proof-of-place documents required during registration.

Office or workspace

A working practice address in Bangalore.

Registration accuracy

Errors in GST registration (wrong principal place of business, wrong commodity codes, wrong authorised signatory) create months of cleanup. We expect first-time-right registrations.

Biometric coaching

For biometric-flagged applicants, you brief the customer on what to bring, when to attend, and how the verification works. Customers who get rejected at biometric for missing documents are an experience failure.

Pricing discipline

Fixed pricing per service type, locked for at least 90 days. Government fees pass through and shown separately.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to physically accompany customers to the GSK?

Not always — many registrations clear without biometric. For biometric-flagged customers, accompaniment is strongly preferred and creates a meaningful customer experience advantage. Tell us during onboarding whether you offer accompaniment.

What about non-Bangalore Karnataka registrations?

We will route them to you if you have GSK working knowledge for the relevant district. Most current routing is Bangalore-centric, but Karnataka-wide partners can mention coverage during onboarding.

Are monthly compliance retainers in scope?

Yes. Many Sevantay-routed customers ask the registering consultant to handle their ongoing monthly returns. We support retainer arrangements; settlement is monthly.

What if a customer's registration gets rejected?

Rejections happen — usually due to document gaps or principal-place-of-business issues. You handle the resubmission; Sevantay handles customer communication. Standard practice is one resubmission included in the original quote.

Can I take corporate customers (Pvt Ltd, LLP)?

Yes. We route both proprietorship and corporate registrations. Corporate registrations need partnership deeds or board resolutions which you should be comfortable drafting or guiding.

Do I need to handle GST cancellation requests?

Cancellation is in scope but is a smaller part of the routing mix. Some partners specialise in this; most handle it as part of the broader registration practice.

How is settlement structured?

For one-off registrations: settlement on completion. For monthly retainers: settlement on the 5th of each month for the prior month's work.
