The opportunity

RTO work is one of the most reliable pieces of citizen demand in Bangalore. Every used-car sale needs a transfer of ownership. Every new resident in the city eventually needs a Karnataka driving license. Every vehicle leaving the state needs an NOC. Every fitness certificate, hypothecation removal, and address change in RC routes back to the same handful of RTO offices — and the citizen, more often than not, is looking for someone who knows how that office actually works.

Sevantay routes this demand to verified RTO agents. Our citizen-facing pages rank for searches like "RTO transfer Bangalore," "driving license Yelahanka," and "vehicle ownership transfer Karnataka," which means the customer reaching us already knows what they need. They are not shopping for the cheapest agent. They are looking for someone who will not get them stuck for three weeks.

Bangalore has 12+ RTO jurisdictions (RT01 through RT14 and beyond), each with its own queues, quirks, and runner ecosystems. Commercial model

Current default: ₹250 flat platform fee per completed RTO job, with the agent retaining the full service charge above that. Settlement on completion of the underlying RTO work, typically within 7 days of customer confirmation. Government fees (RTO fees, road tax, hypothecation entry) are pass-through and shown separately. Specifics are confirmed for each partner during the onboarding call.

What we will not do: charge a joining fee, charge for unconverted leads, or charge a subscription. Sevantay's revenue depends on you actually delivering successful work.

Onboarding requirements

Before you apply, please confirm you meet these baseline requirements.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of hands-on RTO work, with at least 30 successfully completed transactions across registration, transfer, or license categories. We will ask for sample acknowledgements during onboarding.

RTO jurisdiction familiarity

Working knowledge of at least one Bangalore RTO jurisdiction (RT01–RT14). Multi-jurisdiction coverage is a plus and we route accordingly.

Process clarity

Familiarity with Form-29/30, Form-1A, Form-2, NOC procedures, hypothecation entries, fitness certificates, and the Parivahan/Sarathi portals.

Office or workspace

A working address in Bangalore where customers can drop off documents. Home office is acceptable; a public location is not.

Identity and address proof

Aadhaar, PAN, proof of business address. GST registration is preferred but not mandatory for individual agents.

Communication

Reachable on WhatsApp during business hours, basic email literacy, and the patience to keep customers updated when RTO queues stretch.

What is expected of the partner

Realistic timelines

RTO work has structural delays. Commit to ranges, not impossible promises. Update the customer proactively when something slips.

Custody discipline

Original RC books, Form-29/30 signed copies, insurance papers — handled with logged custody, signed acknowledgement, secure storage, signed delivery on return.

Customer tone

You speak as a Sevantay-affiliated agent. Professional, transparent, no jargon, no upsells.

Pricing discipline

Whatever pricing you commit during onboarding holds for at least 90 days. Government fees pass through and are shown separately.

Non-exclusive, quality-bound

You can take direct customers. Sevantay-routed customers get the same quality and turnaround as your own customers — that's the only ask.

Quarterly review

We review delivery quality, customer feedback, and turnaround stats every quarter. Partners who consistently miss commitments may be paused.

    Screening call

    Within 2 working days we call to confirm your experience, sample work, and RTO jurisdictions covered. Expect a 20-minute conversation.

    Document verification

    We verify business documents and 2–3 sample completed transactions.

    Trial assignments

    Your first 1–2 jobs are reviewed closely by our team. You handle them as you would any job; we shadow the customer experience.

    Activation

    Once trial assignments meet standard, you are activated as a regular partner and start receiving ongoing leads.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to cover all Bangalore RTOs to partner?

No. Focused jurisdiction coverage is preferable. Tell us which RTOs you actively work with; we route accordingly.

What if a customer's file gets stuck at the RTO?

RTO queue delays are part of the territory. Sevantay's customer-facing team handles communication during structural delays; you handle the technical follow-up. We do not penalise partners for delays caused by the RTO itself.

Can I take cash from customers directly?

Government fees can be paid via the customer's account on Parivahan or via your account with reimbursement. Service fees are settled per the commercial model agreed during onboarding. We discourage cash-only handoffs because they create dispute risk for both sides.

Do I need GST registration?

Not mandatory for individual agents. Preferred for agents handling corporate or fleet customers, who often need GST invoices for reimbursement.

Are inter-state NOC and re-registration cases in scope?

Yes. Inter-state work is part of the routing pool. Tell us during onboarding which destination states you have working processes with.

What about driving license tests and learner license slots?

License-side work is fully in scope: learner license slots, driving tests, license renewals, address changes, international driving permits.

Can I take the customer offline and bypass Sevantay?

For Sevantay-routed customers we ask that the engagement runs through Sevantay's process. This protects you with platform escalation and us with customer support continuity. Repeated bypassing is grounds for pausing the partnership.
